Today’s update was all about the Logan Utah Temple. I did way less structural updating than I thought I would today. Instead I worked on the texture. The Logan temple has this fantastic old stone, with an unusual mortar set. Every time I come back to this temple, I hate my texture and feel the need to redo it, trying to make it look more real. I am not sure I have it yet, but It feels much closer.
For the first time, the texture looks right. Not perfect, but the color and stone size is right. I added the main doors, and the baptistry entrance. I configured the bottom row of windows and finished the windows on the tower.
